I went to my advisor on Wednesday and discovered the Language Exam that I have to take will be given 2 p.m. Monday! I’ve been practicing all day using the OU practice tests and the Newsroom 101 resource that I listed on this blog entry. I have two chances to pass this test – Monday and again in March. If I don’t pass, I will have to change my major to something else.

I did manage to get my GPA up to 2.54 this semester (see Advisor Day). It sure is hard to move that GPA when you have 120+ credits!

In order to get admitted to journalism school, I had to get my GPA to 2.5, pass the Writing for Mass Media course (which I did), and now I have to pass this Language Exam. Wish me luck!
