Looking for a major?

You might want to try Aerospace. I just read in the Journal Record that there is a shortage of engineers for this field.

Quote, “By 2014, Oklahoma will be unable to supply about 200 aerospace engineers and 400 electrical engineers for the aerospace industry, according to recent findings by the Governor’s Council for Workforce and Economic Development.”

According to the article, “Aerospace as an industry encompasses aviation in general, both military and domestic; the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft and their components; the manufacture of materials used in their creation; flight training and air traffic control; and the design and manufacture of space vehicles and their parts.”
